We present a complete architecture of a Wireless Body Area Network for ECG (electrocardiogram) monitoring.The network is composed of five nodes and a base station. The nodes proccess the ECG signal that they senseand they send information to the base station when a special event occurs, depending on the application. Wehave developed a new TDMA protocol that reduces the energy consumption associated with the radio.
